Are there any prerequisites for this course?
This programme is suitable for beginners with no prerequisites.
What happens if I miss a session or class?
According to SMU's Course Policy ,participants are required to attain a minimum of 75% attendance and pass the associated assessment in order to receive the digital certificate issued by Singapore Management Participants who are not able to meet theminimum attendance requirement of 75% will not be eligible for assessments.
If a participant anticipates needing to be absent, it is recommended thatthey notify SMU in advance to seek guidance on whether they will still meetthe minimum attendance requirements.

Do I need to enrol in all the modules at once, or can I take individual modules at my own pace?
You can sign up for the modules individually and complete them at your own pace. However, to be awarded the digital Advanced Certificate in Generative AI, Ethics and Data Protection by SMU, participants must:
Achieve a minimum of 75% attendance for each module, and- Pass the associated assessment for all six modules within three years.
What certifications will I receive upon completing the course?
Participants are required to attain a minimum of 75% attendance and pass the associated assessment for each of the 6 modules within 3 years in order to be awarded the digital Advanced Certificate in Generative AI, Ethics and Data Protection issued by Singapore Management University.
